In the case of mainland formation companies like LLC, Share Transferring is the process of selling,reducing, or increasing their share value, or even including more shares by a shareholder. Phases involved in a legal share transfer process include:

Phase 1: Draft a BR - Board Resolution

✓ Copy of Parent company’s incorporation certificate

✓ Copy of memorandum and articles of association

✓ Copy of Incumbency certificate

✓ Copy of LLC Trade license

Step 2: Fill in the application form & submit it to the DED.

✓ The application must be in the Arabic language. The application form must be signed by the buyer of the share, the seller of the share, and the LLC company manager.

✓ The application form shall be sealed with the Limited Liability Company stamp.

Step 3: Submit the completely filled form to the DED..

Here is the list of documents that are to be submitted by the buyer or seller of the share - Corporate

✓ Accurately filled registration and licensing form

✓ Trade license certificate

✓ Copy of Memorandum and articles of association

✓ For a UAE resident, submit the copy of the Emirates ID

✓ Documents containing the info regarding Unified ID number- UID

Phase 6: Submit all the necessary Share Transfer documents to the DED

Phase 7: Advertise the share transfer details for a period of 14 days

Phase 8: After paying the requested fees, submit an application for securing a new trade license.
